The Vision of Gables Heritage School
To instill in students the values of curiosity, hard work, creativity, community and stewardship, resulting in well equipped future leaders.
Mission and Statement of Gables Heritage School
Our mission is to provide a hands-on learning experience through agriculture and other skill development opportunities while pursuing a Christ-centered life that fosters positive community leadership principles in order to prepare our students for their next phase of life.
Philosophy of GHS
Gables Heritage School is a recognized, independent school of Manitoba (currently on the waitlist for Provincial Funding ). The primary objective at GHS is to encourage the development of independent, well-rounded, engaged, passionate, curious, self-motivated students who exemplify a Christ-centered character. GHS will work together with parents, certified teachers and the community to provide Manitoba quality curriculum within a multiage classroom. We place strong emphasis on relevant experiential learning expanding your child's critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills in different fields of interest. Through a specialized focus on interacting with farm animals, learning about planting crops, regular field trips and having Exploration Fridays, we hope to expand your child's field of interest and see the practical value and application of education in real-life situations.
